Dysphagia Therapy (Swallowing & Feeding concerns)

Challenges with swallowing, coughing/choking on liquids or foods, unexpected weight loss, Aversive feeding behaviors? respiratory problems, generalized weakness, and/or recent stroke, Alzheimer's/Parkinson's are few disorders that increase risk for swallowing difficulties and increase risk for aspiration pneumonia, and/or malnutrition. diet modification, compensatory safe swallow strategies, aspiration precautions, referrals to other necessary evaluations/treatments to get you safely eating your favorite meals-this is what we do. Let us share our expert guidance.
Cognitive-communication therapy

dementia, Encephalopathy and other forms of Traumatic Brain Injury, are associated with memory, attention, reasoning, problem solving, temporal/spatial orientation and poor safety awareness.
